A six-to-eight seat dining table in solid teak with a planked top and splayed legs.
Description
A long table with a planked top in kiln-dried teak. The boards are matched for colour before glue-up, so the top reads as one surface with the grain running its full length. Splayed legs keep the knee space clear on both long sides.
Construction
Top glued from edge-jointed boards, with hidden bridle joints at the apron. Legs are fixed with mortise and tenon and a steel knock-down bolt so the table ships flat. All timber is kiln-dried to 10–12 % moisture content before machining.
Care notes
Wipe with a barely damp cloth and dry at once. Keep away from radiators and direct air-conditioning outlets. Re-oil once a year on tops that see heavy use.
