A carved teak daybed bench with a three-panel back and storage drawers.
Description
A long seat in the Jepara carving tradition: three relief panels along the back and two shallow drawers under the seat. It works as a daybed on a veranda or as a bench in a hotel lobby.
Construction
Panels are carved by hand from solid teak and set into a frame. The carving is done in the workshop, so lead time is longer than for plain pieces. Drawer fronts match the back panels.
Care notes
Teak weathers to a silver grey outdoors. For the original colour, clean and re-oil each season. Lift cushions after rain and let the frame dry.
